Focusrite 18i20 recognized but no input sound
#1
Hello all,
I am testing AEM on a Huawei T5 tablet with my Focusrite 18i20 audio interface on an OTG adapter.
The interface is powered with an AC outlet.

The USB led on the interface is green and the software recognize it well. I even see the 18 available inputs.

The problem is that when I try to record something, no sound is coming in.
I tested all 18 inputs and each time I get a blank waveform, nothing on the vu meters, no sound...

Needless to say that the interface works perfectly on my desktop computer.

Has someone succeed in making this interface work with Audio Evolution ?
I would love to record my rehearsals with a few mics and a tablet !
And I don't care about the latency so this app would be perfect for me.

Thank you very much !

It's the tablet that probably lacks the isochronous USB mode for input.

Thank you for your answer.

I googled "isochronous USB mode" and couldn't find anything on how to check if my tablet supports it... it is very technical.

How can I check if my tablet is compatible with my Focusrite device ?

You can't, unless you have the source code of the kernel.
