Sprint deployed the Oreo update for the LG V20 today. When I first tried to use UAPP after upgrade and using the HiRes Direct driver, the Hi-Fi Quad DAC was not working at all, e.g. toggle switch made no effect. Switching to Android driver worked. I switched back to HiRes Direct driver and set the following driver flags: Direct, Direct PCM, and MQA. (MQA is probably useless on this phone.) Quad DAC is working again.
So, it seems the auto detection of flags by the driver, which is the default, seems to be not working.
