Is there a way to disable the purchased MQA add-on?   I have some devices that are full decoders rather than renderers and would prefer to offload the full decoding to the DAC.

There is no need to. If the USB DAC is well configured the app will recognize it as decoder and will pass the audio as is (undecoded).

I hear you, but I would still like some control over the process, especially for unsupported devices, similar to Roon where you can turn core decoding on or off.
