It's sort of silly that these forums are close to unusable on smartphones.
I don't know how hard it would be to add a mobile skin to MyBB, but I know from experience it's pretty trivial to add forums to Tapatalk (although it must be done by the forum owner.)
Just go to their website and select mobile app access.
