It would be useful to be able to link two tracks such that the faders are ganged together and operate in unison.

Isn't this the function of the groups (bus), or are you talking about something different? I think this is a really powerful feature as it allows multiple tracks, each with different settings and effects to be controlled by a group (where you can also add more effects, EQ, panning etc).

The group bus does seem really useful and is probably a more sophisticated way of achieving what I was trying to do.  Thanks for the tip.
