Hi.

First of all... im looking to have a ultra small and portable recording solution using an android phone.

Will the Alesis Core 1 work with the software. ?

I really like the extremely simple and tiny footprint of the box.
But... anything similar (and small) out there that will accept a XLR & 1/4 jack ?

The 2 channel solutions are too big for my needs

Also look at the Shure MVi (http://www.shure.com/americas/motiv/mvi), that will accept a jack as well.
