unknown artist everywhere in UI - joshvito - 08-13-2020
I took the time to organize all my music in a folder structure of the following.
artist > album > songs (mp3, wav, flac, etc)
I put the above on an sdcard and added it as the library source for USB Audio Player Pro.
When I scroll through the albums, many of the artist names are all "unknown". Specifically, the ones that are .wav type files.
How can I get the UI to use the folder structure to identify the artists for these files?
I used a tagging program to organize the library, and confirmed the files are in the correct folders and named appropriately.

No help on explaining how the software discovers artist names, etc.?

Only track titles are taken from the file name if the meta data lacks a track title name. The artist info really needs to be inside the file.
