Sort tags - foursticks - 01-29-2021
Are there any plans to enable listing by sort tags in UAPP? I'm thinking about adding Artist Sort and Album Artist Sort tags to my files, but if UAPP isn't going to be able to read them then I probably won't bother.

Never heard of that, so probably not. The app can sort on artist and album though.

It would be nice if we could sort by arbitrary tags.

Sort tags are part of the ID3v2 spec and are commonly used in vorbis comments. All audio players that I have used support sort tags (iTunes, foobar2000 etc.)
I would like/expect a Pro app to support sort tags.
