including time signature changes in copy/paste - synthalabim - 02-14-2022

Hello!

Maybe I‘m missing something here - I use time signature changes a lot and would like to include them in copy/paste, as the notes don’t make sense without the time signature they are based on. As of now, neither selections nor ranges seem to be aware of time signatures. Is there a way to include time signature changes in copy/paste or should I head over to feature requests for this?

Thank you and have a nice day

It appears that many digital audio workstations do not incorporate timing adjustments into the copy/paste feature. Users who work with complex time symbols or who switch time symbols frequently may find this annoying. It has been suggested by users that you manually copy and paste the time stamp changes, or make a new track just for the time stamp changes. Still, it could be worthwhile to ask the creators of your DAW to implement this feature.
