Playing DFF files - 13DoW - 09-27-2016

I copied all my hi-rez music onto an SD card for use in a Samsung s7. I had problems at first in that some music could 'not be queued' but some files played. After playing around (I think I did a clear and re-scan) I can now browse and play all my FLAC & ALAC files. But the DFF files are not listed. If I browse by storage location I can find the folder where all the music was copied and I can select DFF albums that way. Why don't they show up with the rest of the music, is it because there is no metadata in DFF files?

Thanks in advance
