How do I hear what im doing through the headphone monitoring of my interface BEFORE recording ?
I can hear what im doing/monitoring fine during the recording... I cant see how to activate a pre record monitoring of the input signal to set levels etc ????

Arrrrrr... erm... its the ARM function isn't it ?
Ive leapfrogged over this necessity for pre monitoring due to the automatic track arm/creation feature ???

Do you have software monitoring turned on in the preferences?
