Imported Wav file sounds "distorted"? - davidjfleming17 - 03-09-2017 Hello all, I've just started using Audio Evolution Mobile, and it seems like a great product. However, when I import a wav file, it plays back sounding very...perhaps "distorted" is the right word? I'm fairly new to DAWs in general, so I'm still learning, but I can't figure out why this is happening. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a way to fix it? Thanks in advance and sorry for my ignorance... ![]() RE: Imported Wav file sounds "distorted"? - Ray007 - 03-10-2017 Hello davidjfleming17, welcome to the forum. I hope the developer will see your post and can help you. I think you should post more details, like your phone model, etc. Is this happening with every wav file? In my early days with DAWs, I experienced similar issues when used to import wav of one sample rate into a project with different sample rate. But that does not happen with Audio Evolution. Anyway, let's hope the developer or someone else can solve this issue. Ray007, I checked the recording I was using before, and turns out it was an MP3, not wav. I don't know if that was the problem or not, but I re-checked with a wav file and it now is importing and playing back just fine, whether the sample rates match or not. Maybe I missed something else. Oh well, thanks for the reply! |
