Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 - any way to charge while OTG connected? - dsteinschneider - 09-22-2017 I have the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320 running 4.4.2). I just got Stage Assistant. I want to charge the unit while using it connected to a midi foot controller. What's the best way to do that. BTW, I haven't purchased a foot controller yet - can anyone recommend which one would be good with a Samsung tablet. I'm looking at the Logidy. Thanks RE: Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 - any way to charge while OTG connected? - dwrae - 09-26-2017 Usually there is no way to charge at the same time. If you use a powered USB hub however, the controller will be powered by the hub and the battery of the Samsung will drain slower. RE: Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 - any way to charge while OTG connected? - deniou - 10-15-2017 Hi, Is there a HUB yould advise? RE: Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 - any way to charge while OTG connected? - dwrae - 10-16-2017 Any will do I guess, although if you still can I'd take a USB2.0 (not USB3) hub. Hi. I finally choose a usb-c usb3 by renkforce (Made for conrad). I connected my I-rig pro-duo and my X-key 25 on it with an external powerbank. It seems to work fine. But it doesn't give power to the tablett. But It's not so dramatic. |
