White noise on Topping NX4 DSD in native DSD mode - mmrv - 10-06-2019
My Topping NX4 used to work perfectly in Native DSD mode until recently, now it only works in DSD to PCM mode playing DSD files. In native DSD mode, all I can hear is quite loud white noise, no error displayed or anything. I can tell if the device is in DSD by a red LED on the device, while not in DSD the same LED is blue.
I am wondering what's changed? Can I downgrade the player a few versions back? I did not notice after which upgrade this started happening.

Please set the hardware volume control in the app to maximum volume.

I changed bitrate to fix that on mine...
