Crackles / Popping on Tidal - Knocker3769 - 03-18-2020
Just downloaded the app to my Pioneer XDP-300R DAP. When playing MQA files on my tidal account the sound is perfect, but when I play non-MQA tracks (so standard CD quality), there are severe noises in the form of pops, crackles and distortion.
Immediately playing the same track via the Tidal app shows no such problems.
Assuming I can make some settings adjustments to help this?
Any help appreciated!

Did you perhaps change any settings in the 'Internal HiRes audio' flags or format?

Sorry, no. All Flags checkboxes are unticked and format is set to Auto.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and seems to have solved the problem.
