Ignore/normalize velocity when playing live with MIDI keyboard
#1
Hi,  is there a way to ignore or normalize the velocity of the notes when playing live with a MIDI keyboard? I have a Novation launch key mini that works well but it is not good enough to produce a consistent velocity (or maybe I am the problem) Anyways, is there an effect of something I can use so the velocity coming from the keyboard is ignored and a fixed value is used? Thanks!

I don't think there is any such MIDI modifier in AEM, yet. I looked for it after reading your post, but could not find any.

K thanks, I guess I can request this in the features forum, this would be very helpful to help using this in live situations... I will have to keep using my laptop for this

Any update on this?  I have a Akai LPK25 and the velocity makes it unusable.
On PC, I use "MIDI velocity adjust" by Robin Gareus. Any kind of velocity filter would be nice.
