Number of beats in drum tracks

The number of beats in drum tracks seems to be limited to 8 for a specific tempo?

If I want to add more of it, is the only way to double the tempo and adjust everything else?

Is there any recommended ways of using other more powerful drum apps and then importing it here as midi tracks?

Please press the Grid button, there you can select up to 1/64th.
You can always import MIDI or audio tracks from other apps.
