BUG - undo on piano roll not working

I don't know if this has happened since an update or if I have switch something on or off in the app but its a new problem only appearing in the past few days.  When I go to edit a midi track in the piano roll I can no longer undo/redo they show as inactive (blacked out). I can still come out of the piano roll to the sequencer and undo/redo changes I make to the piano roll however it's inconvenient. Any ideas how I fix this?
