Support for Japanese Text
#1
Would it be possible to have support for the Japanese alphabet in UAPP? At the moment all the album information is displayed as a jumble of meaningless symbols.

Thank you.

Please go into the app's settings, User interface, Meta data encoding and select Japanese. You may need to rescan the database.

Thank you for your advice. The same thing happened for files displaying Korean text, but changing the settings in Meta data encoding didn’t fix the problem.

I’ve since tested other files, and they display Japanese text correctly even with “Latin 1 / UTF8” encoding, so I think it must be a problem with the metadata in my files, or something to do with the way it’s been saved.

Thanks again.
