The current implementation of keyboard shortcuts provides different behaviour to the screen buttons. Pressing the on screen play button starts play. Pressing the same button pauses play. There is a separate on screen stop button. On the external keyboard, the space bar toggles play and stop.
It is desirable to provide a dedicated keyboard shortcut for stop.
It is desirable for the keyboard shortcut space bar toggles play and pause.
This would give consistent user experience when using the screen or keyboard.
It would also be desirable to provide more keyboard shortcuts to cover other functions, e.g. Jump.
