Show Folder in Music Player similiar function like "Show Album"

i usually prefer navigate song via Folder menu

for example in desktop player, i use musicbee, which has feature to locate music in folder that help to quick browse music that played in playlist or queue



would you consider to add feature Locate In Folder feature like this:

you're already in a music player, browse in the music player, maybe?

Metadata page already lists location. Just copy and paste location into your file manager app of choice and it will pop right up. This isn't PC software, nor is it a file manager on its own. If the location listed under metadata could be made to be a link that would take you there via one click, that's up to the DEV if it's worthwhile.

Not all files are going to even be available locally, either.

i mean Locate/Jump to Folder in UAPP folder view not in "file manager"

yes Metadata page its already lists location, it would be easier if UAPP can navigate jump to folder location in UAPP folders view by single tap



current case:
i got 300GB music files in my dap, all my music files are available locally
im using UAPP by folder view only, i dont use library
my playlist contain music from different folder, when i want to go to one of track folder even i know where the location path is, i still need to manually tap to change folder by folder then go to sub folder again in UAPP folders view



yes that's up to the DEV if it's worthwhile

also Increase reading speed of tracks inside folders

Locate/Jump to folder in music player would save a lot of time for user who has slow folder loading than manual tap navigation in folder view

729 gigs of music are on my DAP's microSD card. Maintaining this without correct metadata or use of the "library" at all seems like a seriously self imposed limitation. Scan your music into the library properly, and such functions as "show artist" and "show album" do exactly what you seem to want, only not, because you don't use the library.

if you are talking about library usage, then i would suggest Locate/Jump to library, so i can fast go to library without searching again scroll one by one from queue/playlist


since i dont use library, both library and folders has its own benefit and disadvantage, thats up to you if you prefer it, its annoying for me when music in same folder sometimes split into different album/artist just because typo in metadata, or if data changed outside musicplayer i must rescan again which waste time

anyway folder view is enough for me, if you experience using music bee, you will know how much navigation is "search > locate in library"(library user) or  "search > locate in computer node"(folder user)

mobile view is limited than desktop view which has advantage for search by typing..., in mobile view app usually using infinity scroll for navigation, so in my opinion locate library/folder in music player would help for great navigation

mobile apps will never up par to desktop apps its two completely independent applications on two different platforms, please dont compare them seriously, i just mention one of small benefit of navigation it has there

however the idea that i suggest has possibility for mobile implementation











i just found out UAPP has been implement the idea of Locate/Jump to Library. it was "Show Album" if you tap it navigate music player to library album



Same with "Show Album", then i would suggest "Show Folder" with similiar function but to folder view
