CS43131 DAC mobile device

I recently upgraded from a Hiby player to this mobile phone with an integrated CS43131 DAC:

The phone runs android so installing UAPP is simple, however UAPP is not detecting the hi-res internal DAC.

As a solution, under the internal audio driver tab, is it okay to simply manually select "Hires Direct driver" instead of "Original android driver" and then enable bit-perfect playback?

It seems to work ok using this output, but I don't know if the android resampling is still taking place.

My iBasso DAP has the same DAC chips and works properly. It does display the current sample rate in the status bar, so it's a bit easier to confirm that it is working properly. However, as long as you have "play through android audio" disabled under "android audio" and you are getting output, I would imagine that it can be assumed that everything is working properly.
