Plexamp renderer
#1
Not sure what code Plex open sources or not, or whether it would be possible to add to UAPP.  However, Plexamp doesn't support playing to UPNP renderers (like UAPP), but could a Plexamp specific renderer / end point be added to UAPP that would allow control via the Plexamp app and playback via the UAPP engine / driver?  I do know there are end point projects for the raspberry pi, so that may indicate there is open source libraries that could be added.

I know that I can browse a plex server via UPNP on UAPP, but the UX isn't great. It's slow to load large libraries and if you back out of a folder, you are dumped back to the top of a potentially very long list of albums / artists. I think including a renderer in UAPP would be a better solution, as it would allow the user to fully leverage the UI / UX and features (such as radio) of Plexamp
