Limit Samplerate for Internal Hi-Res Output
#1
I’d like to propose an enhancement that would further optimize the app for a wide range of use cases: the addition of a "Limit Samplerate" option in the Internal Hi-Res Output settings. This feature, already available in the USB Audio settings, would be invaluable for those using LDAC-enabled headphones or speakers.

LDAC supports a maximum samplerate of 96 kHz. Without the ability to limit the samplerate in UAPP, higher rates like 352.8 or 384 kHz are upsampled, only to be downsampled by LDAC during transmission. This unnecessary resampling can potentially degrade sound quality.

Why this feature matters:

1. Improved Sound Quality: By upsampling only to 96 kHz, UAPP could reduce aliasing artifacts introduced during playback. This cleaner signal is particularly beneficial for high-resolution audio.

2. Avoiding Redundant Processing: Limiting the samplerate ensures LDAC does not need to downsample or upsample, preserving audio integrity and minimizing processing artifacts.

3. Efficiency: Eliminating unnecessary resampling saves system resources, allowing for smoother playback.

4. Enhanced Flexibility: Aligning the samplerate with LDAC's native capabilities ensures users experience optimal audio without manual intervention or external adjustments.

Adding this option would empower users to tailor their audio experience while maintaining UAPP’s commitment to audiophile-grade performance.

Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I hope it aligns with your mission to deliver the best possible listening experience.
