using OpenSLES option or not ?

I want to use a samsung s4 for recording.
Should I use the OpenSLES option or should I use the default setting ?
What's the advantage of using OpenSLES ?

OpenSLES could give lower latency, but on the S4 it probably won't matter much if anything. You would also need to select the native buffer size in the OpenSLES buffer size settings and use the device's native sample rate. By pressing More -> Set low latency mode you can probably see the native rate, otherwise you need to look in More -> Options -> Help -> About.
