Guitar plug directly in Galaxy Tab S2

The sound lack some presence, but  only use the Galaxy Tab S2 and Audio Evolution Amp simulator (and ToneBooster reverb).

The clean sound is really not too bad. 

I wonder how a 200€ iRig I/O would really make it better,  or if a just a preamp would do the trick ?  
How do you record guitar ???

Also the form factor is important, it is not that I need mobility, but I cannot let cables and stuff at all in the room.

I usually go through an interface dry but I guess you can do anything. I'm going to look out for a smaller, more portable input for my Samsung S9+.

This is a good little Rode Camera Microphone which is good for recording vox on the Go I've found.
