If I'm not mistaken, it has no headphones output, so it is rather pointless?

If we take the huawei mate 20 pro for instance, it has no headphone jack,  but the standard adapter provided by Huawei is a mere pass-through, not a DAC.
This means that potentially it should be equivalent to phones with the standard headphone jack.
The chip sould be hi-res
