Oneplus 6T

Hi all i am trying to use the oneplus 6T with the SMSL M500 Dac. I cannot get the dac to recognize anything above 44.1. The app shows it playing at 96.  Will the DAC recognize MQA?

It will show a MQA symbol when the track is MQA and unfold to 88.2/96kHz.
